In Guachipilincito, there is only one school—an elementary school. After completing the sixth grade, students who wish to pursue further education must pay for supplies and transportation to attend school in a different town. Due to these associated costs, many residents choose not to continue beyond primary school. Our scholarship program supports the cost of supplies and transportation for students wishing to continue their education.
